Single Cell Genome Sequencing
Single-cell whole genome sequencing (scWGS) is a new technique to amplify and sequence the whole genome at the single cell level. Its principle is to amplify and acquire the whole genome of a single cell, and then to uncover the relationship between different cell population and cell differentiation through the high-throughput sequencing after acquiring the complete genome with high coverage. It can be applied in such research fields such as the tumorigenesis mechanism, cancer research, PGS/PGD, early embryonic development, homologous recombination, stem cell research and cell heterogeneity, and etc.
